Pageant weekends are always full of fun and excitement. Over $20,000 in awards will be presented in many different categories, plus everyone will receive a state finalist trophy just for participating. Numerous opportunities to attend our national pageant at the Hilton at Walt Disney World Village in Orlando, Florida, during the week of Thanksgiving, 2007, will also be awarded at the state pageant.

NO PREVIOUS PAGEANT EXPERIENCE IS NEEDED In fact many of our participants have never been in a pageant before. Our staff helps you every step of the way – both before and during the pageant – to make it fun and easy for you. Once we receive your application and $25 registration fee, we will rush your first official pageant newsletter to you right away. Please mail in your application, photo and $25 registration fee within ten days.

Who Participates?
Girls from all over Iowa will be participating in age divisions:

Coed (19-22) • Teen (16-18)
Jr. Teen (13-15) • Pre-teen (10-12)
Sweetheart (7-9) • Princess (3-6)

Pageant Scoring:
The overall queen's competition is based on the following

  • 1/3 Poise and Appearance in Eveningwear
  • 1/3 Poise and Appearance in Interview Outfit
  • 1/3 Poise and Personality in Interview
     ***No makeup is allowed in queens competitions in Princess, Sweetheart and Pre-teen divisions.

Winner in each age division receives:

  • A Cash Award
  • Opportunity to travel during her reign
